How to apply for Tibet visas or Tibet Permits?
Usually Tibet visas are required to apply one to two weeks before travelers arrive in Tibet.
It
is said that the policy on Tibet visas or permits will not be changed in 2013,
which means that Tibet visas or permits will only be issued for a Tibet tour group
with at least five tourists from the same country.
If you are a solo traveler, or a small group but fewer than 5 people, you need to join in an existing group or wait for other travelers to join in your group to make the size at least 5 people.
