I want to travel to Tibet now
We always got phone calls from our clients. and they told us that they need to go to Tibet now. Some of them have meeting in China and after the meeting, they want to visit Tibet. Some of them have booked a China tour, and just found out that add Tibet travel is a good idea because if you travel to Tibet another time, you have to go through China again. I would like to hear that people tell us that they want to travel to Tibet now. However, traveling to Tibet, you need some time for preparation, such as, trip plan, schedule, China visa, Tibet permit, all theses together, taking about two months to set up your tour package. Therefore, if you want to travel to Tibet, you need to contact your travel agent at least two months before your actual tour starts.

Can I travel from Kathmandu to Lhasa by driving?
There are two ways to travel from Kathmandu,Nepal to Lhasa of Tibet. By driving or by air. Since the earthquake in Nepal and Tibet area in 2014, the road from Kathmandu to Lhasa in the border area still has not been repaired. There is a way for the local people traveling through the border from Nepal to Tibet, but not for foreign travelers. So as for today, the road from Kathmandu to Lhasa through Zhangmu still closed. It looks like the road will be closed for a while.
Now the only way to travel from Kathmandu to Lhasa is by air. Before you take a flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, you need to make sure that you have gotten your group Tibet visa with China visa. You also need to book a basic Tibet tour with a travel agency so that you will have no problems traveling in Tibet.
